Rotary Club of Tel Aviv Elbrus was created in October 2021. The first members of the club were entrepreneurs and professionals from the countries of the former USSR.
The club was chartered registered on May 12, 2022 and became a full member of the large Rotary family in the State of Israel.
We meet every Wednesday at 19:30 at SOK coworking (Tel Aviv) or online. The duration of the club meeting is 1-2 hours.
What is Rotary?
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Rotary Clubs
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues.
Our 46,000+ clubs work together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, save mothers and children, support education, grow local economies and protect the environment.
Rotary Projects
Rotary members are helping others in communities around the world every day through thousands of service projects.
We use our knowledge of local issues to identify areas of need, then apply our expertise and diverse perspectives to find a solution. Rotary members likely are working in your community right now to feed the hungry, tutor disadvantaged children, maintain parks and playgrounds, and much more.
The Rotary Foundation
The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
Our Projects
Rotary projects are hundreds of thousands of small deeds that have made millions of people happy
Social Projects
The implementation of projects aimed at specific assistance to those in need is the meaning of the existence of the Rotary Club.
There are different ways to raise money. The main condition for the implementation of any fundraising project is the targeted use of all funds raised. Our club does not spend money received to help recipients on indirect costs (rent, salaries, advertising, etc.). For these purposes, the Rotarians spend their own contributions, which they pay monthly to the club's cash desk. Thus, all our donors can be absolutely sure that their donations will be directed to help those in need in a targeted way.
Super Projects
Super projects of the Club, as a rule, are implemented over a long period of time and require the maximum return from the majority of club members. The project group is created to implement the project, and the project itself is planned and decomposed into tasks in accordance with the basic principles of project management (PMI, project management).
