"A Drawing for a Soldier" Project

Dipping our hands into dark paint, we expressed our anger and helplessness, using black to reflect what we have felt inside since October 7th, adding red strokes of fear…
And then, leaving all these emotions on the roll of paper, we washed our hands. We dipped them into bright paints to draw rainbows, butterflies, hearts, cheerful faces, or simply leave colorful handprints on the paper. Then we added words written in different languages: "peace," "love," and "Together we will win!"—because this vibrant roll, along with the children's drawings, will be sent to our defenders.
The project was carried out with the participation of renowned artist Dmitriy Grechko and his 7-year-old daughter. In his view, creativity helps to express emotions and allows one to regain a sense of safety and tranquility.
This is how our club’s event took place for children relocated from the North and South, held in one of the hotels in Netanya.
